Why deny what our hearts are saying?
Zachary Caragan Bour writes, produces, and records a fusion of R&B and 21st century pop music. Drawing influences ranging from Rex Orange County to Boyz II Men, Bour’s music continues its growth with unique lyricism and a knack for finding melodies.
Having produced and written music through college, Caragan released his initial single “Cozy” at the start of 2020 and continued to release heart warming and heart wrenching songs through the year like “The Sequence” and “Keep Feeling”. He released his first official EP “Eve” in the spring of 2021 as a narrative of his attempts at love in the pandemic. In the spring of 2022, Bour’s senior year of college was filled with several milestones; graduating with a B.S. in Accountancy and minor in Music from Arizona State University, creating an album for his honors thesis, and hosting his first solo show Caragan and Friends.
Now attempting to balance a 9-5 on top of a music career, Caragan now delves into new sounds and sentiments be it in new love with “Sweet Peaches” or the daily grind with “Day by Day”. He looks forward to expanding his creative network through the Bay Area and beyond, as well as developing new stories and experiences his listeners can empathize with.
